Sports at Stanford

Schools receive PE and Sport Funding. This funding must be used to fund improvements to the provision of PE and Sport, for the benefit of primary aged children, in the 2026 - 2027 academic year so that they develop healthy lifestyles. We will receive a total of £8,000.

We will use this funding to employ a PE specialist to upskill staff through a team teaching approach and inspire and improve skill development in pupils. He will work across the school with all year groups.

You can find out more about how we spent the funds in 2025-2026 by reading the report to parents:

Cross Country 13.10.26

On Tuesday 13th October we went to Wantage to take part in the cross country run against other local schools. Everyone did a fantastic job.

Well done Jackson, Willow, Chloe, Arthur, William, Lexie, River, Freddie, Eleanor, Enid and Mia.

Special mention to Skylar, Alexcia, Liam, Toby and Noah for coming in the top 10 in their groups.

Amazing news that our Year 3 and 4 girls and boys are through to the next stage.

A big thank you to all the parents who helped transport the children and to Miss McArdle who supported the children through the event.
