Community Afternoon Tea

On Tuesday 22nd November we invited in some members of the local community for a tour of the school, afternoon tea and some entertainment. It was a lovely afternoon and Year 3 were brilliant hosts. Year 3 also entertained our guests with a beautiful song they learnt in their music lessons. Many thanks to Ms Payne, Mrs Moore and Mrs Konschel who helped me organise the tea.

We have received a couple of lovely notes:
'We thoroughly enjoyed the tour of the school, Dylan S and Melody were polite, knowledgeable and very enthusiastic. Afternoon tea was smashing, Year 3 did a splendid job looking after us all and we enjoyed their singing very much. Please pass on our thanks to Year 3 for their efforts, they were great ambassadors for their school, and our thanks also the Staff who helped organise such a lovely community event.'

'Thank you very much for a wonderful afternoon at your lovely school yesterday. I enjoyed the tour as I had only been in the playground before. The tea was delicious and you were all so polite and courteous and proved to be excellent tour guides, waiters, waitresses and singers.'
